Being a Christian is more than attending a church service once, twice, or even three times a week.
Being a Christian means to take the ministry to all, to serve fellow Christians when they are hurting. Christ tells us in Matthew 25:35-40 (KJV) “35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Lakeside Life Care was borne from a heart-felt desire to serve the church members, to help them connect to other church members that could assist them when and where they need the help.
My wife and I are blessed to chair this ministry and our desire is to help those going through the valleys and struggling to climb the mountain. Jesus tells us in John 16:33 (KJV) “33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Each of us if we are honest with ourselves has had times when we need help. This ministry’s desire is to help when asked and to be there for the members when needed.
